If you perform the same compression tasks on a regular basis, you can use PowerZip Macro Files to make such tasks a one-click operation. PowerZip's Macro support let's you save all of the compression or extraction options to a file. Then you can simply double-click on the file to repeat the operation. For example, suppose you perform a daily backup, compressing the contents of folders C:\My Documents, C:\Work and selected files from other folders. You can create a PowerZip Macro file containing the names of all items to be compressed as well as the desired compression options. You can then perform the backup by simply double-clicking on the Macro file. Creating a PowerZip Macro file is just as easy as performing the same task normally though PowerZip.
